OceanWave Monaco will be increasing the cost of our Ship’s Cook Certificate Assessment course, effective 1 November 2023.

Why are our fees rising? Like any business, we are facing higher operating costs in the current economic climate.

Despite a significant upgrade in our training facilities, with a newly refurbished, professional kitchen, we have not increased our prices for 5 years.

Unfortunately, rising energy prices and the cost of living mean that this is no longer an option.

At the same time, we are committed to providing the highest standard of provision and ensuring the best possible candidate experience for every chef who completes the assessment with OceanWave Monaco.

The Ship’s Cook Certificate Assessment with OceanWave Monaco is not just about the assessment, we also offer:
L3 – in-depth course of study and in-person exam.
Assistance with completion and submission of all certificate application paperwork.
Fast track to CISR.
All associated administration costs at no additional cost.
Limited numbers per assessment to ensure maximum attention is given to each individual candidate.
Support at the end of the phone from the first enquiry through to receiving the certificate and beyond.

The good news? The CISR Ship’s Cook Certificate that you will receive with OceanWave Monaco is now recognised by Cayman Isles as a lifetime qualification, no need to renew or revalidate your certificate, as long as you retain an up to date STCW, Seafarer’s Medical and a Food Safety Level 3 (not older than 3 years), making it a one-time expense.

OceanWave Monaco will honour the existing price of 1,550€ for pre-existing bookings and any new bookings made before 1 November 2023. All new bookings made after 1 November 2023 will be charged at 1,650€ per candidate.
